Learn more about Apogee Sacramento.

As students grow, Apogee’s studios intentionally evolve to meet their developmental readiness—expanding responsibility, depth, and ownership while preserving the relational and discipleship-centered culture that distinguishes our learning community. Across every studio, joyful learning and meaningful growth are our central measures of success, as students develop academically, relationally, and in who they are becoming.

Spark Studio focuses on nurturing confidence and growing competence as students while establishing strong academic foundations. Students develop academic skills through hands-on, Montessori-inspired learning and collaborative projects that help them apply concepts in meaningful ways. Social and emotional growth is intentionally supported as students develop self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-direction. At this stage, our aim is for students to internalize the belief: “I am loved and capable.”
Ignite Studio invites students to stretch into greater challenge and responsibility as they begin taking more ownership of their learning. Students continue developing core academics through purposeful work and collaborative, project-based learning, with increased opportunities for leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving—while still receiving intentional guidance and support. Students practice goal-setting, time management, and focus as they grow in perseverance and confidence. At this stage, students deepen their belief that “I am loved and capable,” while beginning to understand, “I am the driver of my life.”

Discover Studio is designed for students who are ready for deeper thinking, greater independence, and more meaningful responsibility. At this stage, academic rigor increases in developmentally appropriate ways as students engage in relevant work that challenges them to think critically, ask good questions, solve problems, and apply their learning in real and practical ways.
As expectations increase, students take increasing ownership of their goals, workload, and progress, developing the habits and discipline needed for long-term success. They learn to navigate challenges and take responsibility for both successes and setbacks.
Relationally, students are invited into deeper character formation and leadership through Socratic and respectful dialogue, accountability, and meaningful opportunities to serve and contribute within their community. At this stage, students deepen their understanding and lived expression of the belief: “I am the driver of my life.”
